Genelia Deshmukh to reveal about trilogy on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj!

Following a spectacular performance in her husband Riteish Deshmukh's 2022 directorial debut Ved, Genelia Deshmukh has been making waves. The actress admitted that she loved acting despite being away from the big screen. The Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na recently expressed her desire to take part in the 2008 movie's sequel. Now, Genelia recently discussed the potential for the trilogy on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in an interview with a daily.
Genelia was questioned about the status of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj trilogy during an interview with a media outlet. The actress assuredly responded, "Yeah. I don't see it recent but it's definitely something on the cards." She also added that the trilogy is "very dear to Riteish" and he will put every bit of his heart because "it means so much to him (Riteish)."
On the occasion of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's 390th birthday in 2020, filmmaker Nagraj Manjule and star Riteish Deshmukh announced a multilingual trilogy on the film. Mumbai Film Company, a Deshmukh production, will direct the movie.
On February 19, 2020, Riteish took to Twitter and wrote, "Proud to present. Seeking your blessings, Jay Shivray."
