Daniela Melchior to play female lead In Peter Farrelly's Balls Up with Eric Andre! Wed August 07th, 2024

Daniela Melchior, who made a memorable appearance in the Road House revival, is set to collaborate with Amazon MGM Studios on an exciting new project. According to a tabloid, she will be starring alongside comic Eric André in the upcoming movie Balls Up.

Action comedy directed by Peter Farrelly promises laughter as well as thrills. Mark Wahlberg, Molly Shannon, Eva De Dominici, Benjamin Bratt, and Paul Walter Hauser are among the other notable members of the cast.

The Skydance film Balls Up centres on two American marketing execs who blow a client sponsorship chance and get fired. In a strange turn of events, they choose to use their complimentary tickets to a big soccer game.

An enjoyable trip rapidly turned chaotic, and as a result of their intoxicated behaviour, the two were sought out across the nation. Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, who are renowned for their incisive humour and captivating narrative, wrote the screenplay for the movie.

Wernick and Reese, together with Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, and Andrew Muscato, are in the production crew for Balls Up. Executive producer Marc Fisher is involved with the project. After Air, The Tomorrow War (featuring Chris Pratt), and Without Remorse (starring Michael B. Jordan), this is Amazon MGM and Skydance's fourth partnership.

Balls Up is the result of Peter Farrelly and Amazon MGM's ongoing collaboration. Prior to this, Farrelly collaborated with the studio on the comedy Ricky Stanicky, which starred Andrew Santino, John Cena, Jermaine Fowler, and Zac Efron. In March, this movie had its Prime Video debut. Farrelly is a perfect fit for Balls Up because of his sense of humor and background in creating captivating movies.
